In the traditional radiofrequency ablation system, it includes a peristaltic pump, a temperature-controlled box, a power source, and a radiofrequency ablation electrode needle. The ablation electrode needle contains two cavities. The peristaltic pump is filled with cooling liquid to continuously cool the needle tip. The heated water flow is drained from the needle tip to the outside of the body. This technique can reduce the thermal energy close to the electrode needle, avoid tissue carbonization, and allow more radio frequency energy to be deposited in the tumor. The deposition of RF energy in the tissue and the resulting coagulation necrosis were significantly increased using this technique compared to non-cooled electrodes.
Radiofrequency ablation has become a commonly used local ablation therapy for early hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Under the guidance of image (CT color Doppler ultrasound), the ablation electrode is accurately inserted into the tumor site by percutaneous puncture, and the radio frequency energy is used to heat the tumor tissue to 95°C, so that the tumor tissue produces local high temperature and complete necrosis, so as to achieve the purpose of tumor treatment.
Rongbai peristaltic pump product recommendation
The Rongbai peristaltic pump provides wide adjustment through the pipeline without contacting the liquid, and the smooth and continuous flow is the ideal power for cooling liquid circulation while ensuring the aseptic operation of radiofrequency ablation.
